Project VEHICLES uses Grammatical evolution applied to L-Systems to generate distinct vehicle morphologies constructed by voxels. These are tested in a simulated environment consisting of different tracks to evaluate how well it can perform without the use of a brain (i.e. controller).

The result was a diverse amount of vehicles capable of finishing the tracks by the use of only their morphology, composed of sensors, wheels, and blocks of wood, iron, and steel.
